The annual sardine run, during the winter months, is a natural phenomenon along the South Coast. Large shoals of sardine beach from Port Edward to Hibberdene. Shad, game fish, dolphins and shark join in the feeding frenzy, bringing life to the oceans. Play a game of pool at the local social club, enter the competition when it's running, normally Sundays. |

Our beaches are quiet and relaxing for all. There is an abundance of marine life for both fishermen and divers. The main beach has a tidal pool. If you're not into going beneath the water, simply hop around the beautiful rocks at spring tide, and view fish, anenomes, tube-worms and a host of marine species. |
